Eureka The Coverboy Puo Phaa Music Video Original Track

"This is my second music video in 2 months. My first was Flippa's. It has received countless play on GBCTV and it just played on BTV's Flava Dome last Friday. Watch out for it on MTV Base soon. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!

Ok. Basically Eureka called me in December and asked me to produce his music video for his popular motswako hit track "Puo Phaa", from his latest album.

After listen to it, I went crazy with ideas (as always), developed the storyboard concept, presented it to him and he loved it.

2 weeks ago we both scouted for a perfect location, got the right girls to work with.... then it was lights....camera.... action.... and the rest was history.

I'm very proud and confident to say that this video is none like any music video ever produced locally. We produced it paying very much attention to every scene, every act and every tiny bitty detail. It has over 30 visual effects that are mind blowing and you'll never know what you'll expect after every scene.

Big up to:
My team mate Richard Chabwe for all your input in this project.... especially during editing. Your "Gurnish" effects made all the difference.... ha ha ha.

Thanks to Eureka for choosing me amongst some many music video directors out there and trust me with such a project.

Bonolo, Dee and Boi... you guys were super fabulous to work with. You executed every shot better than I imagined it. Thanks for trusting my direction and I look forward to many more music videos with you guys."

what wikipedia say about Botswana hip hop

Botswana has never had a large popular music industry, with most of its recorded music coming from South Africa or further abroad. However, since about 1999, Batswana hip hop performers have begun to gain mainstream acceptance; the record label Phat Boy has done a lot to promote Botswana hip hop. The hip hop movement in Botswana has grown over the years as evidenced by the release over the years of albums and songs fromm artists such as Mr Doe, Zeus, Touch Motswak Tswak ,Ignition, S.C.A.R, Awesomore.aka Gaddamit, Nitro, Konkrete, HT, Flex, Dice, 3rd Mind, Kast, Nomadic, and Draztik to name a few. The release of hip hop albums is slow because of the small market and competition from other genres of mostly dance-oriented music. Since 2000 hip-hop has achieved more prominence in Botswana, with rappers like Scar Kast and Third Mind releasing relatively successful albums. In 2006, Scar released his sophomore offering, "Happy Hour". The same year Kast released "Dazzit". S.C.A.R has since won a Channel O Spirit of Africa Award 2007 for best hiphop.
